By downloading, installing, or using See the Field ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of the App
See the Field is a free educational iOS app that teaches American football strategy through interactive quizzes, concept cards, and animated play breakdowns. The App does not require an account and is available at no cost.
Use of the App
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Redistribute, sublicense, or sell the App or its content
- Use the App's content (questions, animations, concept cards) in other products or services without permission
- Attempt to interfere with the App's operation or backend services
Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including text, images, animations, questions, and design elements — is the property of See the Field and is protected by copyright. Football formations, coverages, and strategic concepts referenced in the App are general knowledge used for educational purposes.
Content Accuracy
We strive to keep all football strategy content accurate and up to date. However, the App is an educational tool and should not be considered an authoritative reference for coaching, officiating, or professional play decisions. Content is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or completeness.
Content Reporting
The App includes a feature to report content issues (incorrect answers, unclear wording, etc.). When you submit a report, the information described in our Privacy Policy is sent to our backend service. By submitting a report, you agree that we may use it to improve the App's content.
User Data
Your progress, preferences, and profile data are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, this data may sync across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Apple's Terms
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA takes precedence.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, See the Field and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
